Description
Pyzel Ghost Pro Surfboard
Based off of the design that JJF rode to two World Titles and now the 2018 SIMA Performance Shortboard of the Year, the Ghost Pro is the high performance upgrade of of our most progressive design to date. Proven in contests and board tests globally, the Ghost is a one board quiver for any performance wave on the planet.
The thickness is pushed forward, which helps even more with getting you into waves easily, and we kept the tail and rails thinned out to help hold through barrels and turns at speed. The rocker is med/low through the front half to get you into waves easily and pick up speed quickly. The rear end has plenty of rocker curve for turning control and snappy responsiveness.
Single concave runs through the entire bottom, with a double concave set inside, which equals speed and lift both on a rail and over flat spots while allowing for quick rail-to-rail transitions. The Ghost’s combination of rocker and concave makes for high performance handling through a healthy mix of sensitivity and control.

Jon Pyzel is a name synonymous with surfboard design. From a young age, Jon grew up surfing in his home town of Santa Barbara in California. After spending time travelling, he decided to move to North Shore on Oahu to enjoy better waves and warmer waters.
Fixing dings in the Country Surfboards factory, Pyzel learnt how much about crafting surfboards and worked in all areas – a hot coater, laminator, ghost shaper until finally stepping out and shaping under his own name. This start with some of the best shapers and glassers in the industry would ensure Pyzel was heading down the right track.
Being surrounded by many of the world’s most talented shapers as well as some of the best surfers including John John Florence, has given Jon Pyzel the opportunity to create , for all kinds of surfers and waves.
Jon still lives in Hawaii wiith his wife and 2 daughters, running the Pyzel Surfboards factory on the North Shore and traveling around the world to shape boards and test them in all sorts of conditions.
